2010  "Circle Through", solo

Solo is inspired by the ongoing circular motion of life and Spiral Dynamics Theory (by Dr. Don Beck, Texas). While living in Holland Külli worked together with specialists from Centre of Human Emegence. This cooperation inspired her to use the theory and form it into a kind of dance poem. We keep on creating better and more complex living systems, yet still get stuck and tired on the way. Breakdowns on the other hand may bring us new solutions.

Circle Through is a meditation on the cyclical nature of life. It invites the audience to notice the circular movement patterns in and around us. What is actually unfolding during this spiral motion?

2010 "Circle Through" was awarded the First Prize at the International Festival of Modern Choreography in Vitebsk, Belarus.
