A new dance intervention research project"Urban Shaman On The Move" by Aida Redza for Dance Unlimited, Codarts
Research Description: "Urban shamanism is currently in the process of being born. Although there are a community of people calling themselves urban shamans. But there is no professional organizations or standards of practise, or even a common language. It then involves a kind of re-creation, spurring cultural change by inventing new ways of spirituality. For most people, spirituality has been devastated by the experience of growing up in the city. Urban Shamans is a person or people who practices shamanism and has adapted the traditional use and practise fit in with their daily life today../ " (working plan 2005-2006)
