"Picture this: on a grey, windy day you go on a stroll through the center of The Hague. The night falls. Neon lights, signs, posters and storefronts flash past. All of a sudden a fragile form appears in a store window, conspicuously lit but still quite mysterious. The situation is surreal and enigmatic, but the image is too beautiful to tear yourself away from.
During the Cadance Festival 2006 it was possible that you had come face to face with one of the Virtual Angels, a multi-media project by artist Piia Maria and choreographer/dancer Dylan Newcomb. Dance video and visual art came together in a series of seven interactive installations in the public space. The Virtual Angels enticed passers-by to join them in a brief reverie. It heightened your senses and passers-by let themselves beguild by the Virtual Angels." (Korzo website)
